eLearning (WBT) for an eProcurement solution

Pecom Energia

Pecom Energy Inc., known today as Petrobras Energy, acquired an eProcurement tool (Ariba Buyer) that allowed them to centralize their purchasing processes, thereby reaping all the benefits brought in by signing deals with their providers. To that end, they needed all their involved personel to start using the product. To go ahead with the change, Pecom devised a strategy involving the development of an eLearning solution, able to be permanently queried by the users, in such a way as they could learn how use Ariba Buyer while carrying out transactions in it.

Television on Internet

LNTeVe

The La Nación Daily's R&D department began studying different possible implementations of an Internet-based video content distribution system. They approached Digbang in search of a robust content manager and public front-end that could be linked with mainstream video transfer solutions, while withstanding the potential load that the linking and publishing of its contents in LaNacion.com could generate.

Integral System

Dvdinamic.com

In mid 2004, an entrepreneur contacted Digbang with a new project to rent movies to end users. DVDinamic's proposal was unique, since users would only have to make a list of those films they wished to watch, to have them sent to their homes in an orderly manner. The main challenge was in building an application not only open to end users, but also capable of supporting the whole company's operation, including catalogue administration, delivery processes, recommendation algorithms and call center attendance.

Website aimed at strengthening the democratic lifestyle through technology

Democraciaviva.org

In August 2003, a group got together and founded DemocraciaViva, which was conceived as an NGO to strengthen democratic life through the use of technologies. It was a big challenge, since the NGO itself required excellent tools to constitute itself as the model of what it intended to promote. Digbang was contacted to design and develop DemocraciaViva's website.

Multi Client Webmail

AT&T Webmail

AT&T provides free connectivity services to several Internet providers (free ISP’s). Amongst its services, AT&T provided the possibility to offer users a web mail service through a globally marketed platform. As it was implemented for each client, this platform needed to be customized. AT&T carried out this job with an external technology provider. Shortly after, AT&T contacted Digbang to carry out these customizations.

Human Resources Portal

Bumeran.com

By mid-1999, a group of entrepreneurs created a company offering web-based HR solutions (recruiting, career planning, etc.). Their main goal was to give other companies selection and recruiting services, thereby simplifying the handling of a big volume of information (postings, candidates, etc.). The Web services presented a great advantage to reach this goal, since it allowed automatic interaction with the various candidates, and setting standards for the information to be processed and entered into a database. Right from the start, the goal was to have a presence not only in Argentina, but also in Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile and Spain. That's why a unified database, able to be accessed from all those countries, was needed.
